Valentine's Day: Make your Roses last Longer

Nothing says I Love You like a bouquet of roses this Valentine's Day. We all love to see the pretty flowers but it does put a glitch in things when the flowers wilt after only a few days.

You can make your flowers last longer this Valentine's Day by simply cutting the stems underwater. Place the flowers slowly into a bowl of water one by one. Each time you submerge a stem cut the stem on a diagonal under water.

Be sure to use very sharp scissors or a sharp knife when performing this task. After the stem has been cut then you can take the flower out and place it in your favorite pretty, red vase.

Your blooms will last longer than they usually do and so will the feelings this Valentine's Day.
