Dermal Collagen Korean Face Sheet Masks Product Review

Hello Divas!

I recently bought a new sheet mask set from the "Dermal Korea Collagen Full Face Facial Mask Sheet" brand. They are a sheet mask so it is a sheet of fabric that is soaked in the essence and it stays on your skin for about 15 minutes while it dries.

I used the Royal Jelly mask this time and I must say I am impressed with just the application. These masks have slits cut into the sides so that you can better adjust them to fit your face.

The nose section is folded up a little so that you can put the flap down over the edge of your nose...much like other sheet masks.

What stands out for me is that the eye area has a flap that you can fold UP to place under the eye to allow more product to get into that under eye area. I have not seen this on any other sheet mask I have used so this is a great feature.

You get 16 of these for $12 so that is a pretty good deal and they came really quickly, even for being an international shipment!

It felt moisturizing on the skin and it was cooling when I put it on.

I will definitely repurchase because I am so into sheet masks now and it works well.

Shopping Haul 21 December

Hello Divas!!!

It is time for another shopping haul post. My shopping hauls are few and far between most of the time and since I do not have a big budget they will usually feature only one item at a time.

The item for today is a peach blouse with very short sleeves. In fact the sleeves are so short that I will most likely use this only as the bottom layer of an outfit with some sort of sweater or blazer over it. I love the peach color and it is truly a rich, juicy hue.

I can pair it with a black and white hounds tooth blazer for the days I want to look more polished...or with a black waterfall sweater for a more casual look.

I have a few other ideas of how to wear this blouse and I think it will work well both for the winter and the warmer months.

The front is a sort of lightweight mesh and the back is of a sheer material. It has a slight hi-lo cut but not in a very obvious manner, which makes it more classic than trendy.

I bought this piece on sale and think it will go a long way as a wardrobe staple in the future.

Be A Fabulous Diva On A Limited Budget

Hello Divas!!!
We all want to look great but sometimes that is not the easiest thing to do because we have limited funds and unlimited wants.

You don't actually have to spend a lot to look great. You just need to make very wise purchases and spend the money to get quality where it counts. You need to invest in a good, well made bag but it does not have to be expensive.

I got a bag similar to this one at Sam Moon for under $40 and it serves as my everyday bag. This bag has taken a lot of hits but it still looks good. It is fashionable enough to look nice when I am all dressed up to teach but it also is casual enough to not look out of place when I am wearing jeans and a blouse to go go class.

I am not really into purses but I was told a lady needs to have at least one nice purse and I think this does well for an everyday bag.

This bag is the perfect size to carry one or two textbooks if I need to but it is not too big so I don't feel like I am carrying a giant purse around all the time.

Another thing you can do is to shop the clearance racks when looking for clothes.

Most people seem to forget that the clothes on the clearance rack are the same clothes that were on the regular racks just a couple of weeks ago.

There is nothing wrong with waiting a few weeks for the clothes to go on clearance so that you can pay less. I will ALWAYS head to the clearance racks when I enter a store because I would rather pay $10 for a blouse that has been out for two weeks than to pay the full price of $35 the day it hits the store.

You will still look great....just a little later than the rest of your friends. The only problem with shopping the clearance racks is that you may not get the size you want or the color that you want because of the timing of the clearance.

I say don't worry about that..there are TONS of clearance racks to look through at other stores and you don't need to have every single item that comes out.

Bargain Outfit (guest post)

Welcome Divas!

Today we have a guest post from Lori at Fashion On a Dime.

I enjoy a bargain. Let me rephrase – I obsess about a bargain. Shopping, for me, has become a quest to find fantastic clothing at the lowest possible price. You don’t have to pay a lot to look like you have a lot.

Let’s do a little experiment. Let’s take an outfit from a high-end retailer and see how we can replicate it for a lot less. I’ve found one here. The Escada ensemble isn’t cheap; the jacket is priced at $1,490, the jeans at $790 and the turtleneck at $890. Jacket and jeans are cotton/spandex blend. The turtleneck? Not sure, but let’s assume cashmere. The total - $3,170. And that’s without shoes, which we can safely assume cost well over $100.

Now to build our replica outfit. The jacket is a much more difficult find than anything else on the outfit. However, we can modify to find one that has unique features just like the one on our high-end model. I opted for this one from Forever 21, which costs $24.80.

Next we have a purple turtleneck. Only now, our sleeves on our jacket are shorter. No problem. We’ll find a sleeveless turtleneck. Here I opted away from the deep purple, which I think is flattering on only a few people, for a more modern teal. Good old JCPenney, which has surprised me a lot with some great finds, has this one for $19.99.

On to the pants. Here’s where it can get tricky. Let’s be honest – not all jeans fit all women in the same way. For this experiment, I’ll show you what I’ve found, but in reality, you gotta try them on. I chose “The Flirt” jeans from Old Navy in Blue Black. They come in at $34.50.

That leaves shoes. Here you go – a black round-toe wedge from eBay (my favorite shoe source). Your browser may not support display of this image.

We’ll assume you chose the “Buy it now” feature and you’re paying $14.99 plus the $9.99 shipping.

To be honest, I think black pumps with this look is playing it safe. I’d much rather kick it up a bit with the shoes. I’d prefer something like this.

On sale at DSW for $14.94.

So what’s the total? The replica outfit, complete with black wedge eBay shoes (and shipping), cost $104.27. If we opt for the red shoes, the total comes in at $100.18 (including $5.95 shipping).

Do you look good? Of course. And you’ve saved $3,065.73. Your outfit is close to the original, but has enough of your own personal twist to make it much more interesting. Wear it in style, girl!
