How To Quickly Cool Your Body Down

Hello Divas!

It is summer time and the heat is just insane. You walk outside for two minutes and get all flushed because you are so hot and that is just NOT cute at all.

If you are looking for a cheap and easy way to get rid of the red and cool your body down quickly then head to the nearest bathroom.

We all know that running some cool water on your neck or forehead can help to cool you down but here is a new tip for even faster cooling.

Simply run cool or cold water over your wrists for an instant reduction in body heat. Since the blood flow at your wrists is close to the skin surface, when you cool this area you will spread the cool to all blood that flows through your body much faster.

Try it out when you do not have time to try other cooling methods and feel the difference.

Quick Diva Tips: Cold Water

Hello Divas!

Welcome to the Diva Tip of the Day. Today we will talk about Cold Water.

Cold Water can be used to quickly brighten up your face when you are in a hurry. Cold water tightens and tones your skin temporarily by shrinking the pores.

It also feels invigorating so you get a boost out of feeling that cold splash!

Prevent Fine Lines On Your Face...Sleep On Your Back

Hello Divas!

It is time for the Simple Beauty Tip of the Day.

We all know that getting a good night's rest is essential to keeping our Diva good looks. But you might be hurting yourself by sleeping the WRONG way.

When you sleep on your face, the friction caused by your pillow increases the formation of fine lines on your face. This leads to wrinkles....which are NOT Divalike.

Sleep on your back to prevent your face from rubbing on the pillow and you will reduce the fine lines on your face.

Oil Of Olay Moisturizer

Now that the summer heat is here all Divas are breaking out the sexy strapless outfits. We are heading out into the sun more and wearing the shorts and skirts that show off our beautiful skin.

While most people use a sunblock on their bodies when they go out...most of us neglect our faces.

I use Oil Of Olay Moisturizer with SPF 15 on a daily basis on my face. I wear it even if it is cloudy out, just so I get in the habit of always wearing SPF and moisturizer on my face.

What do you use?

Fashion Don't with Rhianna

I have no idea what Rihianna was thinking when she donned this unbelievable fashion Don't. Her stylist needs to be beaten over the head with a swatch of that fabric for allowing the poor girl to wear this.

It looks like a some thrift store fabric went crazy an attacked the small framed singer.

Honestly this is such a bad get up I cannot imagine why she would wear it. The top alone can pass but when paired with the pants it just makes me want to beat her with a fashion stick.

The taper makes the pants look clownish at worst and M C Hammerish at best.

Come on girl..we KNOW you can dress better than that. A TRUE Diva would NOT be caught in that mess.

Get better Skin

Soft, smooth skin looks and feels so good. How can we all get better looking skin without spending tons of money and going through painful processes?

The answer just might lie with your bath.
You can take a nice bath with a soothing shower gel like this one and instantly soothe your skin. You will be clean and fresh, without stripping away essential oils from your skin. You do not have to spend 15 minutes in the shower to get clean because that just dehydrates your skin.

After you take your shower or bath it is a great idea to use a lotion to seal in the moisture. I love cocoa butter because it also helps keep marks like scars and stretch marks off your skin.

Simply apply a layer of moisturizing lotion or body butter to your moist skin and you will seal in moisture for the day. No more ashy elbows and knees.

I apply lotion all over my body, even under my feet. It sounds funny but you will see results. People are always telling me I have nice feet.....and it is because I put lotion UNDER my feet. So go ahead....do it in the privacy of your home and reap the benefits in the form of beautiful skin.

Get terrific Hair by tomorrow!

We all would like to have beautiful, shiny healthy hair. But how can you do this without spending hours and hours of your day fussing with your head?

Well one thing you can do is to take care of your hair and prep it while you sleep.

Shampoo your hair at night. This allows your hair to absorb the oils from your scalp overnight. These oils are essential for your hair to look healthy and shiny and keep your hairstyles better.

You can also deep condition your hair at night to make it look better. You simply put the conditioner in at night and put a plastic cap on and go to bed. In the morning you simply wash out the conditioner and presto! Your hair is well hydrated and deep conditioned and you did not have to sit around for 30 minutes under the dryer.

Use SPF to save your skin

It does not matter how old you are or how much time you spend outside. You should always wear SPF to keep your skin looking great.

Remember that the sun's rays can find you inside and still end up doing damage.

If you live in an area that does not get a lot of direct sunlight then you can get away with using the lowest amount of SPF protection available. However you will need to increase your SPF levels as you get exposed more and more to the sun.

Start using SPF now and your skin will thank you for it later.
