How To Make Your Valentine's Flowers Last Longer

Hello Divas!

Valentine's Day is right around the corner and we all know that true Divas get flowers every year on this day. Flowers tend to wilt after a few days and you might even have to throw them out after three days.

If you want your flowers to last longer there are a few simple steps you can take to keep your blossoms blooming a few more days:

Wash that Vase
Some people keep vases that are very dusty and this contributes to the flowers dying quickly. You need to wash both the outside and the inside of the vase properly to ensure that there is no dust to get into the water.

Keep Cutting Those Ends
Most people cut the ends of their flowers only the first time they put them in a vase. If you cut the ends every few days under lukewarm water this will extend the life of your flowers even longer.

Refrigerate Your Flowers
It might be a little bit of extra work but when you place your flowers in the refrigerator at night you will wake up to pretty blooms. Refrigeration invigorates the flowers so try it out and see.
