I have been away for a while and just decided to respond to a few comments I have gotten lately.
On the topic of my ugly, dark underarms...I am not obese and I just got tested and am not diabetic so that rules out those two causes for me.
I have tried the lemon juice thing and that did not work. The lemon juice burned but did not lighten. It feels to me like waxing is helping but I will just have to keep taking pictures to compare.
I live in a small town where the laser treatments and professional asian massage etc. are not available. There are not a lot of asians in my area and I guess women around here do not have this problem.
If anyone wants to write a guest post here I would really appreciate it. It can be anything beauty related and you do not have to be an expert.....I certainly am not one.

Have you tried Nadinola Fade Cream? That's my next attempt, if using a glycolic peel-pad regimen doesn't work. For the record, waxing doesn't help and can sometimes cause darkening. I would know, that's how I got mine. It only helps if your "darkness" is stubble under the skin. If you're going to wax (and I still do) get a wax warmer so that you don't burn yourself, and buy a cream wax. Taking off skin helps at first but then your skin gets angry, and gets darker.
I'm trying Avon Anew Clinical Pads and I'm seeing some results. The only thing that really worked for me though, and quickly, was spending a lot of time in a pool I guess it was the chlorine, and I wish I could have kept going. =(
I wish us both luck. Btw, I am white and my pits are almost as dark as yours. =(
I am using the Nadinola fade cream right now and I think it is working.
It is funny that you should mention that as I was thinking of writing a post on using the cream now.
All the best with your armpits....keep us updated.
